At Holy Cross Child Development Center, we do not view your children as the future, but we see them as the present. They are here and now the presence of the kingdom of God. With this in mind, our classrooms and play areas are designed to help your child develop in such a way that they continue to become the person God has created them to be.

The Big Playground

For our 3's, 4's and after-school children: offering the latest in playground equipment, as well as a large grassy area for open play, soccer, kickball, and more!

The Commons

"The Commons" is the communal area of our daycare facility where children come together for meals, snacks, socialization, and events that require a larger space. As soon as you walk in the door of the Commons during a snack or meal, you'll be greeted with our children saying hello, smiling, and waving!

After School Classroom

Our after school program provides a balanced environment between homework study and much-needed after-school recreation. We currently serve K-5 at Kernersville, Piney Grove, Calebs Creek & Sedge Garden Elementary Schools.

Two's Classroom

Our Two's Class is 15 kids and 2 teachers.  This classroom has a connecting bathroom that accommodates diapering & potty training.  Curriculum is based on weekly themes & activities.

Three's Classroom

Our Three's Class is 16 kids and 2 teachers.  We do require children to be potty trained to be in this classroom.

Four's Classroom

Our Four's/Pre-K class is an all-day program and this class is 1 teacher to 13 kids.  We prepare them throughout the year for Kindergarten through a variety of learning opportunities.

Toddler's Playground

The Toddler class and Two's class have their own dedicated play space that provides up to two hours of play every day.

Front of School

Our center is housed in the "Education Building" at Holy Cross Catholic Church. Previously functioning as the original church, offices, and school classrooms, it currently serves as the daycare and parish gathering space (used exclusive of daycare operation hours).
